AWTEC 2023

AWTEC 2023 will mark its 6th edition with conference themes that reflect where the global ocean renewable energy sector is heading to, with specific interests that address, and pace for Asia’s own environmental and economic landscape.

AWTEC is the Asian edition of EWTEC (European Wave and Energy Conference).  EWTEC is governed by an Executive Board and Technical Committee, with members elected from the top researchers in the field in Europe. These committees provide the necessary management and guidance to support the continued pre-eminent global pedagogic and scholarly standing of the EWTEC conference series – with the 14th edition to be held this September in the United Kingdom.

 AWTEC, which is advised by the European Committee, is also hosted every second year, alternating years with EWTEC, and is similarly governed and organized by an Asia committee with members from prestigious institutions from 17 countries and regions.
